This page sets out exactly how a payment on this site is taken, protected and billed.
One-time billing only
Every charge made by Area 15 Supply Co. is a single, one-time charge for the order you placed. We do not operate subscriptions, memberships, auto-reorder, instalments or any other form of recurring billing. You will never be charged again for an order you have already paid for.
What appears on your statement
Charges appear as SQ *AREA 15 SUPPLY CO. That descriptor is fixed and is the only way our charges appear.
How your card data is handled
Card details are entered into a payment form hosted and served by our payment provider. The card number, expiry and security code are transmitted directly to that provider and are never stored on, or visible to, our own systems. We retain only the last four digits and the card brand, for order matching and support.
Verification and fraud controls
| AVS | Billing street number and postal code are verified against the card issuer’s records on every transaction. |
| CVV / CVC | The card security code is required and verified on every transaction. |
| 3-D Secure | Where your issuer requests it, an additional authentication step (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check and equivalents) is presented during checkout. |
| Encryption | The entire site is served over TLS. Card entry occurs inside an encrypted, provider-hosted frame. |
| PCI DSS | Card processing is performed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider. We do not handle, transmit or store raw card data ourselves. |
If you do not recognise a charge
Please email support@area15supply.store with the date and amount before filing a dispute with your bank. A charge from us will always correspond to an order placed on this site, and we can identify it, send you the order detail and refund it directly if it is not yours. A direct refund reaches you considerably faster than a chargeback, which can take several weeks to resolve.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card, to a bank account or by any other means.
