Area 15 Supply Co. aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across this website.
What we have done
- Text and background colours across the site are tested for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Every product and decorative image carries descriptive alternative text, or is marked as decorative where it conveys no information.
- The site is fully navigable by keyboard, including the menu, product grid and checkout, with a visible focus indicator.
- Page structure uses correct heading levels and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Layout is responsive and reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling down to 320px width, and tolerates 200% text zoom.
- No content flashes, auto-plays audio, or moves without a user action.
Known limitations — stated honestly
- The card entry form at checkout is served by our payment provider inside an embedded frame. We do not control its markup, and while the provider states it meets WCAG 2.1 AA, we cannot independently guarantee every element within it.
- Some product photographs carry alternative text generated from the product title rather than an individually written description of the image contents. We are improving these as the catalogue is reviewed.
- PDF documents we send by email (such as order paperwork) are not yet fully tagged for screen-reader navigation.

If any part of this site prevents you from completing a purchase, email support@area15supply.store describing the page and the difficulty. We will respond within two business days and, where a fix will take longer, we will complete your order for you directly in the meantime.
